Fusion Link vs. Moovs

Your drivers' cars shouldn't set your software bill.

Moovs prices in vehicle bands — the plan you land on is decided by how many vehicles the business runs — and collects 3–4% on every card transaction. That maths assumes the cars are yours. Fusion Link is built for operators whose drivers own theirs, and charges a flat R7 per completed trip: no base fee, no vehicle count, no payment markup.

Fusion Link

R7 per completed trip. No subscription. No vehicle count. No card markup on your payments.

Moovs

Public plans: Test Drive free (10 rides/mo), Standard US$149/mo (2–10 vehicles), Pro $199/mo (11–20), Enterprise from $999/mo (20+) — plus $299 setup on paid plans and 3–4% + $0.30 per card transaction.

01 — Unit economics

What a month actually costs.

Moovs prices by the number of vehicles the business runs. If your drivers own their cars, that is a meter on assets you don't own — the count goes up every time a driver joins, and nothing about your costs changed. Fusion Link prices by completed trip. Assuming 80 trips per vehicle per month.

Moovs card-processing fees apply on top of the base plan on every card transaction, and paid plans carry a $299 one-time setup fee. Standard includes 150 rides a month, so the volumes estimated here would in practice need Pro — the row is left on the plan Moovs recommends for the band, which understates rather than overstates their cost. A free Test Drive tier exists, capped at 10 rides a month. Fusion Link uses your own Stripe account — you pay only Stripe's standard rate. Figures from moovsapp.com/pricing. The Fusion Link column is Singapore pricing, because Moovs publishes in US dollars; SGD→USD converted at a fixed display rate of 1 USD = 1.35 SGD.

02 — Why operators switch

The reasons that come up every time.

A vehicle count is the wrong meter for your business

Moovs sets your plan by vehicle band — 2–10, 11–20, 20+. On an owner-driver roster those cars are the drivers' assets, not yours, so the meter counts something you don't own. Fusion Link charges the same R7 per completed trip whether five drivers turn up or fifty.

No card-processing markup

Moovs adds 3–4% + $0.30 on top of card fees. Fusion Link connects your own Stripe — you pay Stripe's rate, nothing extra.

Overflow reaches a driver, not a company

Moovs farms trips in and out between affiliate operators — the receiving company dispatches its own chauffeur and takes a cut. Fusion Link lists the job to individual owner-drivers, who claim it at the Driver Pay already on the job.

GPS-stamped photo proof

Moovs has real-time GPS tracking. Fusion Link adds timestamped photo proof at each checkpoint so disputes settle on evidence, not chat history.

When Moovs is the right call

US operators who own their vehicles and employ their chauffeurs, want a polished branded passenger app and built-in SMS/chat, and are happy with a subscription model.

Where it breaks for modern operators

Cost scales with vehicle count and card volume, not trip count — and vehicle count is the one number an owner-driver operator doesn't control. Built for the US market with limited global support.

04 — FAQ

Common questions.

My drivers own their own cars. Does Moovs handle that?

Moovs will dispatch to them, but its pricing is banded by vehicle count and its fleet tooling assumes the vehicles are the company's. On an owner-driver roster you are metered on assets you don't own and don't maintain. Fusion Link never counts vehicles — the car is the driver's, and you pay per completed trip.

Is Moovs available outside the US?

Moovs is primarily US-focused and publishes in US dollars. Fusion Link is built for global operators — multi-currency wallets, local payment rails, timezone-aware dispatch, and country configuration out of the box.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No. Fusion Link is per-completed-trip billing out of a prepaid wallet. You can stop using it any day and owe nothing.

Can I keep my existing clients and branding?

Yes. You get a booking page on your own domain with your logo. We never touch your client relationship.

How long does onboarding take?

About 10 minutes to start dispatching. Your vendor account, branded booking page, and driver invites all run from one place.
